*Mumbles something about being stuck in Dublin*

Actually, I wonder if there'll be an en masse takeoff? Pretty close to the Don up here.

I remember the Merlin put in a good show in Salthill last year, they were really showing her off. I'm sure that didn't pass the notice of the AC.

Irish Aviation History / Looking for the family of  Cmdt. PJ Ryan
« on: November 03, 2006, 10:55:10 am »
Saw this on today's Indo, thought I'd pass it on.
Ian o' Doherty received an e-mail which went:

"looking through my late wife's effects (her grandparents were involved in the antiques trade), I found a beautifully edged tray engraved: Presented to Commandant PJ Ryan on the occasion of his marriage, July 1923, by the NCO and men of Baldonnel Aerodrome."

He wants to help the emailer to find the Ryan family and return the tray to them. Anyone who may have information please e-mail Ian at iodoherty@unison.independent.ie

Just a pun Fouga, just a pun.

Balloons.......

Pricks.......

Although those loony lefties really did need to release some pressure.....

Nothing more than a load of hot air......

Seriously,
I can't take GAAW and their ilk seriously.

Fantastic show, well impressed with all the helicopters. The Sea King had a huge kick to her on T/o, the Merlin guys deserve real credit for pushing her capabilities to her best and the Red Arrows, spectacular as ever. Not to forget the Blades, a very good opener and I hope they return in the next few years.

Nice to see a face Fouga! Good to know I'm not the only aeronut this side of the Shannon! Well done!

 'thumbsup'  'thumbsup'
