Good luck to everyone who tries out for this Cadetship!!! Hurry up and wait!!!!!!!!! Rembember this phrase, and you will do well in the military!!!!!!!!

I think the age limit should be raised to 29!!!!

Frank I would hope that the Air Corps has at least tightened
up the security around Baldonnel for such events of foreign air craft flying. I think in general security should be the same at all times. I certainly agree on what you are stating!!!! '>

I am back!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have being busy for the last year finishing off my degree!!!!!! Went to New York last November to the United Nations-Saw some great pics of the Irish Defence forces on the walls. I am sad that the Government is cutting the Air Corps out of search and rescue's-They do such a great job, and it would be a sad day in Ireland if the Air Corps got totally cut out of these operations!!!!!!!!!!!! I spent many a day watching the A' three's flying over and of course the Daulphines!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who rembembers Air Spec 86 and Air Spec 87!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hmmm-Pat Kenny certainly had a great time flying in the Fouga's in Air Spec 86, and RTE even did a special in January 87-Hosted by Pat Kenny, during his today tonight days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I hope you are all keeping well on this board!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Irish Air Corps / Why no NATO

I am glad to see this topic!!!!!! I mentioned this idea years ago on boomers site,and also the pdfora site-gosh I got attacked by everyone. It is cetainly time that Ireland joined NATO.  It would be great if Ireland got decent equipment,and it would be great for the moral in the ranks. If you want to learn about the internee's during World War Two in Ireland, just watch the movie called the bill cream boys!!!!. It was not uncommon to see internee's going into Nass, and attending the balls at the old lawlers ball room!!!!!!!!!.

It would be great if they displayed two Fougas at the gates
of the Don, and mouted them on stands!!!!!!!!!! I hope the Air Corps gets revamped with more equipment one of these days!!!
