I doubt that very much, were ILSless here in sligo.

But the AC is always in and out of sligo, usually on training, sometimes they do crew changes for the s61 aswell in the casa.

Can I ask what your interest in this aircraft is Niall

Do they have static displays at galway airport during the galway airshow, like at the baldonnel airshows, and if so can you walk around the aircraft.

It was in sligo for a few hours aswell, one of the only mornings we didnt go out and thats there, seen it over the town though.

have you tried windows media video, not sure ifs it better than mpg but I think there smaller.

I have a video of the s-61 doing winch training at dublin airport, i took it back in december if you want it.
its 5megs.

Could it have been the coast guard?

The IAC s-61 seems to be on training flights every morning or at least every second morning. It may have been at Carrickfin for the day.

Theres also loads of the IAC fixed wings in and out every morning the dauphin is here a good bit now aswell.

Hi, im doing my leaving cert and for histroy we can choose a special topic and i would like to do an essay on the IAC.

It couldonly be to be up as far as 1960 though, maybe something about the IAC during world war 2.
Anyone have any ideas or books i could get info on would be great.
