The SE5A was delivered to the Air Corps in this scheme the wing roundels were green white and orange, it had no fuselage markings and it had rudder stripes. It suffered engine failure and force landed in the south west during the Civil War in 1922. The roundels were changed to stripes in service. I do not speculate.
The Hudson had all its camouflage removed at Aer Lingus and carried the civil letters EI ACB. HTH
