Just spotted over Lough Corrib, dark green EC 135 going back and over, pretty low too. Did IAC get some interim aircraft until the real deal arrives.

P Doff, Not sure I was sitting watching the Rugby, when I heard it rushed out to just see the back of it. Then 10 minutes later it came back and out across the Corrib. It could easily have been the Weston craft as I did not get a great look. It was more the colour that struck me, and noise. Sounded pretty good.

I think what you spotted was the EC120 flown by Executive Helicopters based at Oranmore, Galway (beside the former go-kart track).

I was on the firing range (which is practically beside Executive Helicopters) last Tuesday & Wednesday nights and the EC120 was continually flying overhead.

Frank.

Surely one of the Don bods would have mentioned something if they'd been delivered?

Hi Fouga,

I should have said evening, while there was daylight. Never ever been to a night firing practice bar firing a few blank rounds while on exercise.

FMolloy, I would hope they do.
Cheers Frank, I was sure the Exec machine was white and it was damaged a few years ago. So its nice to see they got another one. It is one nice looking machine.
