What type of tasks does the Defender carry out, the heli's are more high profile etc, but I was wondering how the fixed wing aircraft is used, do they do their own "air escort" work or are the Air Corps 182's still used for this?

I'm sure if we had any 182 aircraft we would gladly use them. Hope it was just a typo!
