Now that the deployment of EUFOR to Chad has been confirmed, what air support i.e. Troop transport heli's, gunships and definitly needed close air support (CAS) assests are to be deployed since this was one of the stumbling blocks that postponed the deployment int he first place.Im guessing alot of french equipment since they already have Pumas, Transalls, gazelles, and Mirage F1s in the country.Im hoping this will be an eye opener for the government that we need more assests of our own(though i know highly unlikely).
I understand if it cant be discussed due to it being an operational matter, but almost everything has been made public anyway about this deployment down to the number of bullets our guys are taking!
