I recall reading somewhere that a video compilation of Air Corps helis in action was produced in 1993 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of AC heli ops.

Is this the case ? Does such a video exist ?
If so, where could I get a copy ?

Hi guys,

I dont know if i mentioned it before but there was loads of footage taken from the heli formation(9 ship) a few months ago, its meant to be good stuff! ill check into it for ye if you like!

For starters Silver perhaps you could contact RTÉ and ask them? I have always found them very helpful.
Good luck in your search,let us know how you get on! (Perhaps you would be interesting to swap for my video of RTÉ's history of the Irish Naval Service?).

I'll give RTE a try, but I think that perhaps the video was an internal Defence Force production.
I have the special AC heli brochure that was released in 93' and would like to get the vid if it's available.

Was that Naval Service history shown on RTE ?
Did you get it from RTE ?
