afther a long absance the Paddy from Holland is back on line.

I've been busy the last awl months but ...... here we go again !!

Maybe I can start up with a decent shot I took at Leeuwarden air show this summer.

I had the priveledge to work with the IAC PC-9M demo and had a great time with the 2 pilots .

I'm comming to Ireland in February ( the 11th 12th and 13th to be exactly ) and I'll be stayin'in the Dublin area.
two questions for you:

Yes airlift is very important but so is air defence. As an independent country we should be seen to take this issue seriously!  Remember in the 1930s when Churchill warned about Germany's naval build up and the need for Britain to do the same? He was laughed out of Westminster!  Who was proven to be right?  Last year an Aer Lingus flight from the States was diverted to Shannon due to a bomb scare. We were not able to intervene. Luckily it was a hoax. But what if it was more serious or a hijacked plane heading for American sites in this country?
