A good friend of mine put this up on another forum I made a few changes;

"Jack a new retiree greeter at one of the DIY/Flatpack stores, he just could not seem to be able to get to work on time. Every day he was 5, 10 or 15 minutes late
He was a good worker,really tidy , clean shaven sharp minded and really a credit to the company which was underlining their "Older Person Friendly" policy.
One day the boss called him in to the office for a talk, Jack I have to tell you I like your work ethic, you do a great job but your timekeeping is becoming a problem.
"yes I know that boss I am working on it"
Thats good Jack I know that you are a team player. It's odd though you continually coming in late. I know that you were in the Air Corps, what did your Flight Sergeant say when you were continually late arriving.
He would say "Good moring Brig. Gen would you like your coffee now sir"
