Still, you can get MiG 21's, 23's or T55's, if you're into heavy stuff, or similair... A nice piece for your front garden and that's for price of scrap  '<img'>

You can't fly on that, that's for sure

i dont mean it like that what i meant was you would not be able to get the aircraft into this country because there is no way that thing is going to be put on the civil register by the government and it doesnt look exactly like a corporate helicopter!!but if you want to turn this into one of those stupid threads were im right and your wrong well ok.it could be destroyed.a pc9 with gun pods could take it!it has altitude advantage would be directed onto the apache by air traffic control and chew it up on a few passes!its not a rafale or anything.its speciality is anti armour not anti aircraft!its a chopper with 8hellfires a cannon and 2rocket pods!besides it would be taken out by the ADR if needed!a unit could be deployed maybe expecting it and bang its gone afew rbs70s a few bofors!like i said its not a fighter!

Pilatus!
Slow down! You'll do yourself an injury typing so fast...now get your inhaler... that's it...deep breaths.....nice and easy does it...there, calm now? When you are ready, go to PPrune, do a search about fast jet versus helicopter in the Military Aircrew forum and have your eyes opened. Also, there are at least two AH-1s in private service in the USA, so even an Apache wouldn't be beyond the bounds of possibility.

2 GttC:
I think, that both of them, Pilatus and Shamrock 145, got their points, little bit differently, though.

I.A.C. has new 'copters and PC9's. I don't know if they are training air to air combat situations, I, personally, think they don't, but this could be a nice excercise  'buttrock'

...Any volunteers?...  'yikes'

Pilatus

my post was slightly facetious. Of course you are 100% about the legalities of bringing such a beast into the country.

Mind you, would have been handy to have in your back garden during the 'Dublin riot' ... "What’s that Madam Mayor, a riot in O'Connell Street, you say?! Women and children in peril, you say!! Commerce suspended, you say!! Garda helicopter unavailable, you say?!
Never fear I'm on my way, we'll have those malcontents out of your hair momentarily ... now, where did I store my napalm tipped ordinance ....?" Oh Yeah!  '' 'buttrock'
