Dakota's in Dublin
« on: March 15, 2011, 12:14:49 pm »
I'm trying to find out more information about who would have operated the DC-3 in Dublin in 1961? or more specifically between Dublin and Jersey in the summer of '61 (July).
Any information would be most helpful. I suppose the chances of photographs are practically non existent but obviously any would be fantastic.
Thanks very much for any help on this subject.

I think I've established that it was AL who were operating the Dak at the time. Does anyone know if AL would have an archive of flights/flight numbers/equipment used etc? I've tried googling it but no real success :(
My parents flew to Jersey from Dublin on their Honeymoon on July 5th 1961 and I'd love to get a picture framed of the exact aircraft they flew on if possible or failing that, one that would have been on the fleet at that time.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
