Lovely photos.

I was standing in LAP Bravo at DUB with a UK biz jet crew this evening, 2200 approx, it had just gotten dark. The Retro A320 was towed down to H6 right in front of us as we had a natter. As I admired the colour scheme the two visitng drivers remarked how smart the 1960/70s scheme looked on the Airbus. It really does turn heads !

RTE Nationwide documentary series will broadcast a full half hour programme dedicated to Aer Lingus 75th anniversary on our birthday Friday 27th May. The show will feature archive footage of Aer Lingus throughout the decades and include interviews with Christoph Mueller, Davina Pratt - Chief Pilot, Eamon Power Maintenance and Engineering and Aer Lingus history enthusiast as well as interviews with current and former cabin crew.

Friday 27th May: RTE 1 Television The Late Late Show 9.25pm until 11.40pm

Watch Ryan Tubridy presents The Late Late Show on RTE 1 Television at 9.25pm when he will give Aer Lingus a special mention.

Friday 27th May: The Iolar Dublin Airport: 9am until 2.30pm

Look up and see the Iolar aircraft as it make numerous flights over Dublin next Friday 27th May. These flights form part of our birthday celebrations

Iolar did about a dozen local flights, looked & sounded great. Well done to the team of volunteers who have worked so hard for the last year. This was Johnny Molloy's third time to lead a team on a major refurbishment of Iolar !

WX has been a bit nasty & Sat looks about the same but hopefully a few more will visit.

Bi-Planes are notoriously tricky landing in crosswind conditions hats off to the pilot who flew her on that day
As I recall it was very blustery weather conditions on the Friday

On first glance you’d think the IOLAR was constructed of metal hard to believe its Fabric & wood

Would like to see the Swallow display at Bray

Thanks joey1. Yep, taken while on finals old RWY29.

Was a very windy day but the Dragon was steady. Paul von Lonkhausen was the pilot, made it look easy !

The Swallow will be flying again quite soon.I believe it will be present for the ILAS fly-in.
