The Aer corp S61 just flew over and landed on an Island in the Corrib. Was it on a rescue mission as we are noramally served by Shannon. And I thought this aircraft was given back to CHC?

Saw that too. Was sitting in my car parked on the quay in cobh at the time, when it passed in front of me... ':O' scared the bejaysus out of me too..they had the wheels up to stop them getting waterlogged!
No camera that day sadly '<img'> (thats has not happened since, currently have 3 cameras in my car..just in case)

Could be just a training mission, When I was on Fort davis in April the Waterford Bird was doing Winch Drills between Fort Carlisle and Cork Harbour and Back again with the RNLI, It was some Sight as we were up on the Cliff and it was opposite us then would fly down below us to drop the victim/trainer into the Inflatible.
