There is a 4-page feature article on a former-Air Corps Seafire in the May issue of Flypast magazine.

The Seafire is now repainted in it's AC colour scheme - complete with correct roundels !

There is also a 2 page feature on the Air Corps Seafire fleet.

Silver,
I think that you meant to say Spitfire! I do believe that one Seafire (157) is on long term restoration in England ,not sure if it will ever come to fruition.

it will come to fruition the aircraft is rather close to airworthy condition the whole airframe was stripped and rebuilt!it would be great to see it at an irish airshow some time! '<img'>

I doubt if the Seafire 157will come to fruition in the near future. The Spitfire 161 had its engine runs but after it was stripped down apparently engine filing were discovered. The engine will be sent back to the States (if not already). It will be sometime and doubtful if it will appear on the airshow circuit for this season.
