I recently came across this UK site which has some nice pics of Air Corps aircraft attending UK airshows.

I particularly like the shot of the Gazelle complete with flotation gear !

Hi Silver,

I actually have permission from Linden Hill to use their pictures on this website, I just haven't gotten around to putting the pictures up, I'll get to it in time though.

Frank.

Hi Frank,
Many thanks for the info. I never heard of them before, interesting! I know Joe Maxwell a long time and glad to be able to help him with some of the Air Corps colour schemes.
Kind regards
Tony K

Hi Tony,

Linden Hill Imports (click here for their actual homepage), are a company that distribute model decals and assorted other modelling bits and pieces.

They are dealers in the US for the Irish based outfit Max Decals who specialise in Irish Air Corps decals.  There are quite a few pictures in the IrishAirPics.com picture database taken from the Max Decals website, the photographer being Joe Maxwell.

I hope this info helps.

Regards,

Frank.

Hi there,
The Allouette and Gazelle pictured were atthe RIAT 2001
at Cottesmore. It was great to see them there. If I remember
correctly, they faced directly onto a Mig 29, no less.It was an
excellent show. Now, what are the chances of a Mig 29 at
Salthill? We've had exotics in the past (B1), so why not think big again.
