Westair / Shorts Skyvan
« on: November 01, 2004, 07:46:13 pm »
Hi Guys,

I wonder if any of you can help me out......

I was asked today if Westair (based in Shannon) ever operated a Shorts Skyvan, possible reg EI-BNN??

Can anyone of you guys out there confirm whether or not they ever did operate one?

I looked up reg EI-BNN but is doesn't seem to be a correct reg.

Thanks in advance,

Frank.

Yes - they were EI-BNN and EI-BUB, used mostly for transporting racehorses for Vincent O'Brien.

Hi Short finals,

Thanks for the quick reply.  Thanks also to all of you who emailed me with info as well.

For all of you who are interested here's the info I was looking for:

EI-BNN was a SC7 Skyvan registered to Shannon Executive Aviation (Westair) between 19th May 1983 and 1st August 1990, they also operated another Skyvan EI-BUB (C/N SH.1907) between 1 December 1986 and 1 February 1987.

Regards,

Frank.
