You havnt heard noise until youve been overseas and seen and heard aircraft such as the Tornado in their proper operational terrain!!
Ive been around aircraft since I was a kid and the one time I felt genuine pain was when a GR4 came over my head on a low level flight a couple of years ago. MY GOD, I thought the blood was going to pour out my ears!!
Im sure that there are other a/c that are louder but most people only get to see them at airshows were, trust me, its toned down quite a bit.

when I was a kid I was on an airshow where a tornado made a high-speed full AB pass over the runway. I was about 50 meters away. I felt the ground and my whole body shake. Amazing experience.
