I heard somewhere that the S-61 is getting a new paintjob, well its air corps flashes and serial number anyway.
Does this mean that it will become operational in the near future?
And if so,what will happen to the Finner facilities seeing as the S-61 is to be based at Sligo?
Your wisdom will be much appreciated.

The S61 has been touched up with large roundels on the tail boom, given 257 as its number and instead of " Irish Coast Gaurd Rescue" has "Irish Air Corps Rescue" painted on. After that it is still in it's original Red and White colour scheme.

Oh come on lads!!Is it that boring a topic?!
I was up in the Don today myself but I didn't find out anything about the Sikorsky other than that it's still in the hangar.
