Hi all
The Marchettis are in what is known as "flyable storage", that is, they are fit for flight and can be made ready at short notice. They are kept in a light state of preservation, i.e, canopies covered, all inlets plugged, engines preserved internally and so on.They are in as good a condition as when they were fully active. They are surely going to be sold intact, as a going concern. Some of the Dauphins are not fully intact because they were undergoing overhaul when they were grounded. This might mean that they might get broken up for spares, rather than be refitted and flown.
