Nellis AFB Aerial Shots

Hi Guys,

I was in Las Vegas during May this year and took a flight from there to the Grand Canyon with Scenic Airlines.

On both legs of the trip we overflew Nellis.

Below are pictures showing an aerial view of part of Nellis AFB.

Picture 1: There are 19 F-15's in this picture, some of which are in the shelters. 2 of the F-15's are waiting to take off (top right of picture) one is on the runway and the other is waiting it's turn to take off. These fighters took off while our aircraft was directly overhead the runway.




Picture 2: There are 9 A-10's and 18 F-15's in this picture, some of the F-15's are in the shelters and 1 F-15 is on the runway taking off (top middle of picture). This fighter took off while our aircraft was directly overhead the runway.




Picture 3: 6 HH-60G Pavehawks on the ramp at Nellis AFB.




The pictures below were taken at the Grand Canyon, the first (aircraft No.5) at the bottom and the second (aircraft No. at the top
