What do all think about the Irish Defence Forces going back to the Congo? I hope the balooba's are not around.
My stance is simple on this issue. If the Irish defence forces are being sent into the Congo again, they better get some decent fire power and air support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The situation is a mess at the moment. Two UN observers have or ready being killed.

If the UN want the Irish Defence Forces to go in, they better fork over some cash for new equipment!!!!!
Its always the Irish Defence Forces leading the way in the UN.

You don't seriously expect the UN to shell out for new equipment do you?

Excellent point Irish Marine. In fact the UN still owe Ireland millions of euro for previous and present Irish participation in UN peace keeping forces!!
