Website updates

Hi Guys,

I finally managed to get the finger out and update some of the older parts of IrishAirPics.com.

You will notice that they have a similar layout to WorldAirPics.com but the page colour has been changed and a tricolour has been added to the header image to distinguish the Irish section of the site.

Membership logins do not work on the Irish section of the site as I want to concentrate all future website activity on the WorldAirPics.com section of the website. The reason for these changes is that the Irish part of the name was and still is discouraging people from uploading non-Irish related photos and I want to open the site to as many users as possible.

People with photographs on the website need not worry about losing hits or exposure, no pages have been deleted, they have only been updated so all links currently used by Google, yahoo, etc are still valid.

I've finally tidied up the news section of the website too, you'll find a week's worth of aviation related news here, i hope to add a news archive search feature in future:

Hi Frank,

Without wanting to sound ungreatfull for all your hard work-I have to say I prefered the old style of Irishairpics.
I found it easier to use and I think it was good to have worldairpics being that bit different so if you wanted a change you could have both.

What I`m trying to say is I like the simple style of the Old irishairpics site(which is mainly about the photos) and if I wanted to follow something up or look in more detail I could look at Worldairpics.

Maybe I`m a retro freek?
