Army UAV's

From what I hear, the NS wasn't happy with the AC personnel's performance on Eithne. The AC crew's weren't happy being on-board for any length of time & would fly back to the Don at every available opportunity.

As for UAV's, no one on IMO knows anymore than has already been posted. Unless you want us to start making stuff up you can stop going on about it.

F Molloy,
Thanks for your cheerful reply. I did not realsie that when someone on a thread mentions a topic of interest and I query it that it would annoy you. I apologise profusely.
By the way you are entirely wrong. No legislation forbids civilians from flying state aircraft. In the past they have flown the GIII on contract and recently ratings were given to Air Corps pilots on the EC135T2 by civilian UK based instructor pilots in Baldonnel. The fact is that under Irish aviation law there is no Police Operations Manual therefore the only personnel presently allowed to fly police type operations under Irish Aviation Law are those that are not confined by Irish Aviation Law, i.e. the Irish Air Corps.  'thumbsup'

It annoys me when you proceed to mention it on two seperate threads on a different board. If there's no reply to your posts it's because no one has any further info, it's not a conspiracy of silence to keep you in the dark.

I would have thought a lack of replies would indicate an obvoius lack of answers. It seems I'm wrong so I'll endeavour to get every board member to post a 'no new info' message for your benefit in future.

FMolloy,
Whats your problem? The UAV thread on this board was started by Fouga NOT ME but yes I did respond to it. However maybe if the IMO thread was left as intended in the Army board more people my have had info as it is an Army not Air Corps project!  'thumbsdown'
