Flying lessons

Just wondering if you started civvvy flying and got your PPL, would the AC look even more favouribly in your direction or would it not bother them as they would do it their way or the high way?

Im the next fast cessna fighter pilot, with sidwinders on the wings of my 172!! HA HA

At the end of our apptitude tests we got a talk on what the training would be like and he said it wouldn't make a difference wheter you have had previous experience or not because you had to do the flight training anyway,plus the warriors are a lot different to the 172 and you're going to be tested on them,not cessna's!
But I find it hard to believe it wouldn't help even a small bit.
