Now I know this is not related to the AC but just had to post this.............Sad to see the present state of Ralley EI BBJ  semi derelict in Weston,in a recently added pic in the gallery.....I have very fond memories of doing circuits and bumps in it, around weston in the 80's...manual flaps...like a handbrake..I'm sure many more of you must have happy memories of BBJ  'airplane'

Hi there
I remember the Rallye, BBJ, being referred to as the "Bumble Bee" or the "Yellow Lemon". Darby used to aerobat it directly over the airfield, at what appeared to be stupidly low heights.Obviously, it came through, but he was an absolute master of the Rallye.I flew twice with DK, but not in BBJ. Shame to see it rotting, though.
regards
