Does there be a lot of civil traffic landing at the don. '<img'>
I feel the need,the need for speed!!!!

Weston use the runway every other week for touch and go's when we're not busy. And very occasionally(maybe only once a year!) we get a rich civvie using here to land their/chartered exec jet.

Hi there
It depends on what you define as civil traffic.There have been aircraft as diverse as geographic survey aircraft(Learjet, Casa 212),State-registered VIP aircraft from foreign countries, nominally operated by the military, hired-in aircraft (N407FD comes to mind),aircraft bringing civil servants to/from Belfast(Woodgate's Navajo),aircraft in for film-making (JU-52, B.707) rich people's biz-jets (EI-LJG comes to mind), emergency divertees( a certain EC-120 having a mobile-phone crisis), all the aircraft that fly in for airshows that are not military and occasional Westonites. The Don gets quite a bit of civvie traffic, that the average taxpayer doesn't know or care about.
