Sorry lads but being the oldest swinger in town I have only discovered the facility for private messages tonight!!  Sorry if some peole feel upset at what I say...I do not mean to offend and I certainly wont be complaining anyone to Frank if I feel offended by what they say!!
Frank could you imagine the reaction to some of the treads if this was an USAF site....no criticism about the country or its policy would be aloud and its politicians would be held in high regard.  Why do we have such a low opinion of ourselves and our country?
Lets celebrate in our love of country and its great IAC!!

I will get back to you on your pm request in the next day or two.  I am about to go through my video archive and hope to get more information on the NS programme I videoed for RTÉ such as the date and channel of broadcast. It was an excellent one.
No doubt you have read the following book but here are the details if you havent:
"The Irish Navy-A Story of Courage and Tenacity" by Tom MacGinty. Published by the Kerryman ISBN:0 946277 22 2 P/bk
-published in 1995.
An excellent read with some great photographs including the LE Eithne with a Dauphin on board and a Casa on patrol.
