That picture was in the Mess at Gormanston many years ago and was of a five ship formation. I believe the picture was taken by another Seafire.

I don't know, but there's a plenty of old photographs of various planes, tanks, ships etc for sale.
So I thought it could be one of these...

Where exactly is the backdrop -- spot a double decker on the road below, looks somewhere like Howth Road out of Dublin but cant quite reconcile that big institutional building in the background ...
