WRC Rally, Sligo, Ireland

Hi Guys,

Just spent the weekend in Sligo, Ireland, covering the helicopter movements for the World Rally Championship stages that were held over the weekend of the 15th - 18th November.

60 helicopters were registered to attend the rally but seeing as there was numerous landing sites not all heli's passed through where I was.

I would like to say a big thank you to Se, Jean, Tony and everyone involved with the HAMMS site at Sligo Institute Of Technology for their help, company and support over the weekend.

I'm still going through all my pictures but here's one of m favourites from the weekend, there are 12 helicopters in this picture, look for a few Robinsons lurking in the shadows.

Nice pics Frank, very interesting use of lighting. Where was the first one taken, it that a football pitch or something.
