Harry Murphy RIP
« on: February 29, 2008, 03:01:54 pm »
Not strictly aircraft related but Harry Murphy passed away during the week. He was an ex-"army" chef who was a good lad and friendly to everyone. A bonus was he could actually cook!

For those of you gone to long he was the small red-haired cook who was also in Training Wing as P. Brain's assistant.

Hope your not slaggin JK again. It does only seem to be when there's bad news we get in touch. Must meet up for a pint sometime.

Yeah there are only me, Sack, Charlie, Paddy left of our crowd, none of our Juniors and Jim Davis, Red and Mick Dunican from our Seniors.

Nicky Barrett and Hitler are grandads now and Paddy got hitched. Haven't heard much from anyone in awhile.

Yeah my "kids" are 25 and 21 and can't get rid of them. Their mothers cooking must be better than I give her credit for.

God rest him.He was a decent skin who never skimped on the grub and wasn't bitter towards techies like some of the "rocks".
