Hi all, after the Red's flypast of Galway City i got out to Salthill for the Irish Coast Guard's SAR Demo which went ahead in beautiful conditions, hats off to all involved they really do have my respect, nice to get a few flyby's from The Air Corps too.

17-46 Rescue's Survivors


"Rescue115" Winching with 17-46, In front of them is Irish Naval Ship LE Aisling "P23" which released Distress and Parachute Flares as part of the SAR Demo.

Interesting pictures Dave, looks like there was a good show in Salthill.

I couldn't make it to Salthill for the display but the Coast Guard must have felt that they were leaving me out so they came to me instead:

EI-GCE was flying over Loughrea and just happened to fly over my house, this picture was taken while I was hanging out my bedroom window!
