Just wondering what is a typical day like in the AC? What time does flying start?

What time do they have to be on the base at?

Do they sign all the paperwork like in other Air Forces before they get to play with the tax payers toys?

Would they sleep on or near the base? On im guessing..

Thanks guys, i was just showing an interest as nowadays i cant get any info and whenever i hear a AC helo heading to Galway Regional Hospidal i tend to get the camera and scarper down for a few photo's but i cant do that lately because of work commitments!

When i get good up close photo's il send em on, and the AC guys never have a prob with people going down to them on the pad atall and they answer all questions! Fair play guys!! '<img'>

Fouga,
This website is accessible by everyone including international terrorists.  No such information like this should be given.  You may be putting our country at high risk of a terrorist attack.
Frank in the interests of national security could I suggest that this thread be withdrawn from the board?

Ah guys, you are being too hard on Fouga !
He is only showing a genuine interest in the AC.

Fouga,
From what I have observed, flying seems to start (the Marchetti's anyway) at circa 9.30-10am.
And I believe that most of the younger recruits stay on the base overnight (I know this because I read of complaints about their sleeping quarters a few years ago).

Hope this helps,
Silver.
