the hand eye is computer based test, you got a ball that you have to keep inside a circle, rudder pedals for left and right and a stick for up and down, and the other one is a zig zag line moving across the screen and you keep the dot on it. the interviews aren't to bad the shrink will just have a conversation with you and on the tech side they only expect you to know what your flying experience would warrant, ie if you a ppl you should know ppl stuff and no less.
as far as the final interview being on the same day i dont know, its been 5 years since i did it and it may have changed.
hope this helps

lube i sat the final interview and got an offer for a position, my only advice would be to be honest, no bullshit. their will be 5 people on the board 4 aer corps and 1 civie from the DOD, all the questions asked will be based on what you said on application, all the stuff about leaderships skills and any flying you did, the sports listed, football and GAA are the popular ones.
hope this helps you prepare

Yes the final interview is on the same day. I did all mine last week. I thought it went pretty well. There was also a small written test which was mostly maths. Quite easy though and loads of time to do it.

Its Lude btw! the one I would be worried about would be the high stress tolerance part,You have to give examples of the several aspects of what they are looking for,not easy.
But I understand the no bullshit part,it will help in the end I suppose!
Cheers,
Lude.

Bhal gasuraí agus girseacha,

What did I miss while I was being subjected to the terrible mental torture that is the leaving??!
I got my letters from the air corps for the fitness test, seems I'm not as stupid as I thought!
Does anybody know if they are a bit lenient with those who haven't had time to train for that bloody run??!!
And its early as well,8:30 in the morning,I'm only complaining because I have to go up the night before though.
Oh well,such is life!
Seriously,advice please!
