What's the jet buzzing around Baldonnell?

I didn't know the IAC had any of these airworthy! It seems to be wearing the number 74. Is this correct? sorry for poor quality of pics, taken at extreme range.

Aircraft is G-VTII flown by Mark Hooton. Was at Fairyhouse 1980, landed on the grass.  In for Air Spectacular at Baldonnel 1986.

Here's a shot just after the GPU was unpluged by AC ground crew.

Well done to the Vampire Reunion Committee (including Paddy O'Meara, Chairman Roger Casement Branch ONE, Louise McInerny of CityJet, Mikey Whelan of the IAC Museum & Heritage Centre, IAC historian Tony Kearns & many others).   :applause:

Great turnout of ex AC Vampire air & ground crews.

Suspect Frank will have plenty of shots to go up on the site when he has time. I've a few more yet. Flying in Ireland magazine editorial staff were there in force & full coverage should be in next issue.

Great to see a Vampire in the air over Baldonnel!

Wouldnt it be great if an IAC Vampire (or Fouga) was airworthy again?!  :airforce_cool:
