Salthill Air Show Pictures

Hi Guys,

I managed to take exactly 1000 pictures and videos clips at the air show!  This one here of one of my favourites.  I've been trying for years to take a (decent) picture looking up the jet pipes when the afterburner is on and I finally managed to do it....

As it stands I have only 3 pictures online but I have a good few ready to go up on both the Salthill Air Show website and on IrishAirPics.com so keep an eye on both websites for updates.

I'm on camp for 2 weeks from Saturday so updates will be slow until near the end of the month.

Hi Guys,

I've finally managed to get my head around all the pictures I took and I've started putting them online.

You'll find pictures & video via the pictures link on the Salthill Air Show homepage and also on the new updated Air Shows section of IrishAirPics.com.

I've also got some class still photos of the Reds that I will scan tonight and hopefully put online sometime tomorrow.

BTW, in the new Air Shows you'll be able to browse through pictures taken at various air shows other than Salthill, just click on the gallery link at the top of the page.

but since I am a luddite and still depend on film, and have been away for the past week, it will be a few days yet before I can submit my pathetic collection.

           I just realised after watching your video footage of the reds that I must have been standin right next to you as you shot it!! Dag nam it!! And there was me lookin around for a guy wearin the Irishairpics badge!!

It would have nice to have met up with you and say thanks in person for all the info you've imparted over the last while.

I was at the tip of the small jetty that had the lifeguard hut on it, were you there too? Pity we didn't meet up, ah sure, there's always next year! Watch out for more pictures in the next few weeks.
