Pictures of the Learjet 45 & other aircraft

Hi Guys,

I've added 3 pictures so far of the new Learjet 45 to the picture gallery, click here to see them:

I've skipped them to the head of the queue, I've lots of pictures waiting to go online, including pictures from Shannon Airport (Antonov An-225, world's largest aircraft) and the USS Intrepid in New York (F-4, F-14, F-16, Blackbird, Concorde).  

I be adding the lot over the next few days and weeks so keep an eye on the website.

       Were you on USS Intrepid in NY and USS Growler and Edison. Now chaps that is a Fantastic museum, it has more aircraft on it then the Aer Corp currently own. Including two Huey Cobra's, F15 Tomcat, Harrier Blackbird ETC.

Hi Clan,

I was on the Intrepid and the Growler but the Edison seemed to have been moved to make way for Concorde.

I was there on the 18th December 2003, having celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Powered Flight the previous day on Aer Lingus A330-301 EI-ORD flying to New York JFK.

Impressive museum, although some of the exhibits were very weather beaten with some of the markings worn away but all in all it is a must see museum.

While we are on the subject of museums can I strongly recommend a museum in London for a visit?  It is the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon - a must visit for all with an interest in military aviation!!  Check it out at www.rafmuseum.org .

if you want to see the best muesum in the world you need to go to the edwards afb muesum. the worlds most odd a/c are there, like the parasite fighter, wing coupling fighters and so on, it just a great place to roam around in.

Hi Frank the planes on the deck were indeed weather beaten but it is still some piece of kit to have a look at. RAF Hendon is also excellent where you can get lost for hours. Now where is our museum. I must go check it out.
