for the past month myself and a group of people have been prepping and painting a jet with a digital paint scheme like the New Navy uniforms or like the army and Marine cami's but in blue, light and dark gray and black.. So far it has taken 36 quarts of paint, and an ungodly amount of masking tape to get to where we are now. Myself and one other guy are laying out the design and painting the jet while the others lay out the design and tape up the areas that aren't supposed to be painted just yet... We just finished up with the 3rd week on this project....When we de-taped the jet last night it took both of us a few hours to get just the bottom half of the jet de-taped and we had a big pile of masking tape(pic of pile with the guy I'm painting with for size reference..he's about 5'5").. We sprayed the 2nd of the 4 colors which is the first color of the digital design. We still ave 2 more colors to spray on and roughly another month ahead of us before it's done.
