Just wondering what has happened to all our Alouette's now? Is there any still in storage at Bal?

Alouette 195 has been retained for the museum, all the rest are long gone.

My understanding was that 2 x Alouettes were to be retained?
i.e. with the possibility of 1 x Alouette to be operated as part of a future 'Historic Flight'

I hope not, with all due respect all that money could be better spent on other everyday services that the IAC provide and do a good job at. Id much rather see funds for that being plowed into CASA MAROPS/Top Cover/ATCP/CIT etc.

Id be all for having an A3 flying but only if it was flown and maintained by exers and by sponsorship.

Apologies Fouga, I did mean to reply but overlooked it.
I doubt that we will see a historic flight, I suppose we should be lucky that at least we have the museum.
There is one Alouette III no. 195, only one was retained, I dont know how that story of two came from, someones imagination I suspect. I do believe that I mentioned this before.
I do not have to hand where all the others went to , but I believe that this was also posted at some stage.
Alouette III No 202 the one that went for a swim in the Donegal Lake went to the Ulster Aviation Society Museum at Long Kesh and I did post a picture of it at the time.
