« on: April 03, 2011, 07:16:36 pm »
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any information about the DH-9's stationed in Tralee?  Was a DH-9 rebuilt and painted up in a Irish Air Corp scheme? How how paint scheme's were their for this aircraft? Looking forward to hearing from you.  Thanks, Mike  :)

Welcome Blue Baron,
There were no DH9 aircraft based at Tralee, there were a few detached at Fermoy, this was during the Civil War.

Hi Tony Kearns, Thanks for the welcome and respond. Could you tell me about the DH-9's detached at Femoy during the Civil War?  Thanks again, Mike  :)

You are welcome Blue Baron.
There were usually two DH9's with the detachment at Fermoy and these were tasked with army co-operation, reconnaissance and railway protection during the civil war period of1923.I am attaching a picture of two of them at Fermoy in 1923.
