Is it a piece of false evidence or did the U.S loose a piece of 'Secret' new kit in the raid to get Bin Laden.......

Well the hub cap on the tail rotor was almost certainly borrowed from the Commanche main rotor head.

Note the tail rotor driveshaft draped over the wall!! Doubt thus is a mock-up as some are saying!!

Presumably the aircraft came down in a less than completely controlled state, yet, seeing as the tail rested, or more likely struck the wall, there appears to be precious little damage to the wall.

Maybe they build walls of stronger stuff in Pakistan.

The U.S government have admitted the helicopter that crashed was a never before seen 'Stealth Heli'!
Well whoopee, now let's see one!!

The tail in Ascot's pictures appears to have suffered fire damage (either that or is has been rolled in some very dark mud), which is not present in the pictures posted by ML.

Can anyone explain why they would persist with the tail rotor instead of blowing air out the tail - as has been demonstrated for decades now, surely that would have a vastly decreased the radar signature?

Well if it is a pimped up BlackHawk then the tail and stealthy bits would be bolt on parts over the original skeleton and internal structures. You can see the tail rotor drive shaft in some of the photos. This more than likely runs along the same route as the parent machine whereas a NOTAR design would require a complete redesign of the tail section taking a long time (simulations, test flights etc) and money to develop.
Plus , we don't know how long these stealth helis have been operative . Afterall the Blackhawk and stealth technology have been around for the best part of 25 years as far as we know!
