Sighted over Connemara yesterday and during the week. Dark Green or Black Squirrel type helicopter with what appeared to be a night sun light at the back?? It could easily have had an enclosed Tail rotor.

No, but Close. It apparently was for moving Salmon smoults from a Hatchery in the connemara mountains to Fish Tanks off the coast. It is I am told the quickest and cheapest way of moving the fish. All in all the Helicopter did three days of this work with only a quick break for lunch each day. Imagine that the next time you buy Salmon in Tesco's the bloody fish could have had a trip in a helicopter.
