Impromptu PC-9 display !
« on: April 27, 2005, 08:34:43 pm »
Just a note of thanks to the AC 'jocks' who put on an impromptu display over Newbridge today -

Two PC-9's flying in formation, when one broke away and did quite a few fast circle circuits over the town, then proceeded to rejoin the other aircraft and head north.

The aircraft sounded great and really caught peoples attention - many stopped and stared for quite a while!

Well done guys!!

I'm (now even more!) looking forward to the Bray and/or Salthill shows !

'<img'> good one.

As an aside, the Dauphins have flown low over UCD several times in the last week or two, great but distracting me from the study  '<img'>

A pair of PC-9's seem to be working up for the summer's shows. Either that or their just taking advantage of the relativly good weather. I was watching them over the drome today and its been a while since they did anything more than come in for the break then land.
