Tall Ships race - Update

This is the link to a Web-cam showing Waterford, it re-freshs every 10 seconds or so. The opening takes place at 3:00 pm on Wednesday and this will include a flypast by the Air Corps. You may be lucky and catch it on the webcam. I will be there and hope to take some pics.

There was a fly-past of 4 PC9's at 4:00pm. I didn't take any pics as I arrived at Waterford Airport and was delayed by the traffic diversions getting into the City. I saw the flypast but didn't have time to get my camera. It was OK, but only the one run up the river and then they were gone.

^^^ the DoD got a huge number of calls regarding the practice runs done in preparation for the flypast on Sunday from people believing that they were responding to a terrorist attack. It was reported in last Fridays Times or Indo cant remember which.

Edit: The flypast on Sunday did go ahead.
