Yeah, I've just got back from an ATC annual camp at RAF Coningsby, we were told not to take photos but got the group photo in front of a Typhoon! The Cadets were taking photos of themselves with their camera phones, Lord only knows what was in the background!
Frank, you should have seen some of the aerobatics those Typhoons were capable of, and the take off run on afterburner! Also I got the best flight in a Grob Tutor I've ever had! I even got to do Cubans, Half Cubans, Split eights myself! The pilot did talk me through them though, just as well 'cos I didn't have any idea where I was! Pulled +4G too and it felt like the 6G I remember pulling in a Fouga, 'course I was a lot younger and fitter then and the Fouga could sustain the G!
