Hi Guys,

Thanks for your messages of support  '<img'>

As for getting the rows going, looks like Mr. FF is on the ball!

Anyway, about this site, I had a little help initially with regards to the general layout of things, what works and what doesn't work, but after that it's all my own.

I've been messing around with websites for the last 6 years now and I like to try out different things.  I try to keep the site as professional looking as possible, I don't like tacky websites... one thing I really hate is pop-up ads, I wasn't too impressed with the old message board because of that, that's why one of the first things I did with the new site was to install this new message board, it's a pop-up free zone, same as the new guestbook.

I really think the favicon is a nice touch, it helps make the site stand out in a non-tacky way, I found out about them last year and started using one on the Salthill Air Show website, I also have a WAP site for the airshow but I don't think I'll be doing an IrishAirPics.com one just yet though, I'll try and master CGI first.

Right now I'm looking into getting a file upload facility for the website, it totally gets away from the hassle of emailing pictures, like I said before, I have 500mb of server space to fill up so send away!

Thanks again for your support and help guys.

Regards,

Frank.

Hi Bucks,

I signed up with a crowd called Powweb.  I've got 500mb to play around with, with full cgi, ssi, etc, etc, in other words all the bells and whistles that I need to help IrishAirPics.com grow.

No more bloody pop-ups!

Frank.
