Anyboby know where a 1/72 scale Fouga can be found?
Area not important as I travel around Ireland regularly.
Also has anyone ever come across any 1/72 scale fuel trucks,GPU's fire trucks?

Try Mark's Models (Dublin and Cork)  They should be able to tell you on the phone if they have them.  I have certainly seen the Heller kit on sale in their Dublin branch this year.

What I would love to have is a scale model metal Fouga  'pilot_cool'

However, it unlikely that there ever will be a metal model available  '[<img'>

About 15 years ago i got a fouga model from 'Duffys Toyworld" !!!! but about a year later it had  been written off at the hands of one of my younger cousins! Did you try looking on the makers websites  ie....airfix.com,heller etc maybe you could order one from there.....

that heller one is always turning up, ive seen it many times in Marks, just try again every so often. its in patrouille de france colours.
Or theres another guy that might have it. His shop is on the corner of the junction of dorset st and the street opposite nrth fredrick street. He shop is practically only a doorway that opens onto this street opp nth fredrick st that i dont know the name of. Its only about 20 foot down the street from the corner.
And then theres the banba on mary street.
or the model shop on capel street.
They dont have much but might have it if you are lucky.

Hi Bypass, I've got an Airfix model of a Fouga Magister 1/72nd scale with Belgian, German and French markings, it's no 02047-5 series 2. A bloke at work who scours model fairs got it for me, I got a couple of transfer kits from Heathrow modellers with plenty of Air Corps decals that will adorn it. I might get around to making it one day!
I did start making a Puma with the intention of doing it in Air Corps colours to join the Gazelle and Alouette in my display cabinet!
Sad Git!

The Heller 1/72 kit is available from Hannants in the UK.  You can order from them on the web and they advertise in the main modelling mags.

Cheers Fouga! I can't get my scanner to work so what I'll have to do is photograph them and download it, i'm not that up to speed with computers yet-maybe I'll get one of the kids to do it! Don't hold your breath, though!
Heathrow model shop are a great scource of stuff, 'don't know their number but they advertise in the model mags.
I have to be honest, my mate made the Alouette but I did do the Gazelle, trouble is they're slightly different scales so physically they're the same size.

Thanks for modelsforsale.com and Hannants, saved me a bit of leg work!

John K do you remember the 1/48 scale Puma in the display cabinet in the App. school?I think blu-tac was used for the floats. If memory serves correct there were a good few models in that cabinet. Some shower of inmates must have been promised a long weekend pass for the maker of the best one?
Can anybody shed any light?

I think it was Owen Sherry who used to make those models-not an apprentice! We were too busy on our pads or reading gen books (64 pagers!)
