Hi everybody,
how come, that such events is generally unnoticed and unannounced?

I believe, there would be an army of visitors if they knew.  'yikes'

Hi all
The pilot is John Romain, familiar to any reader of Flypast or Aeroplane Monthly, as a very accomplished engineer and pilot, who has even built his own prototype aircraft, the Romain Cobra and who is very well regarded in the business.Big 'applause' to JR and whoever made the decision to paint G-CCCA as "161".All we need now is for someone to resurrect an Air Corps Hurricane or a Seafire...
regards

Certainly was inspiring sight to see (RTE News had good coverage of it too) also seeing the newly commissioned cadets beside this historical aircraft I taught it was quite poignant image myself! Hopefully this will be the first of amny visit to this isle of this aircraft. 'pilot_cool'

Can anyone tell me what RTE news featured the Spitfire visit?
Usually the clips are online after the news is broadcast.

Sealion I saw it on RTE six one last Thursday, and Sky News Ireland at 6.30 and 10pm the same day.  Think the Sky piece was longer....not sure. 'thumbsup'

Is really staying?
I'd like to organise quick trip up-there for few lads from our modelling club to take "few" pictures, but I'd like to be sure...
And what about its pilot, or somebody who's responsible for this lady, will he be around as well? For those interior shots, you know...
Anybody can tell, please
