A long time ago I was going to do a degree in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering in the Royal College of Military Science in Shrivenham in the UK. The prospects for joining the RAF were high according to the chief lecturer during the interview but would have left me as an exile at the time. Things have changed now and it might be worth a look now. As it turned out a degree was irrelevant so consider all your options carefully. I'm looking to do a degree now x (more than 10 years later) so even if you join there is still hope!!
