USS Theodore Roosevelt visit 20-22 Feb 2006
« on: February 24, 2006, 12:40:57 pm »
Hi Guys,

I spent a few days at the start of the week on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Aegean, this was the last operational media day in Europe.  As you would expect the Tomcats were the highlight of the trip and the weather was absolutely perfect, not a cloud in the sky.

Photo locations were a bit restricted compared to previous media visits due to various things the previous media personnel did or didn't do.  But in saying that I got some cracking shots, I started off by editing the static shots but I couldn't help myself jumping forward to doing some of the action shots!

Anyway, here's the first of many pictures, static first, then action, full size of these picture and more can be viewed here:

Regards,

Frank.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the positive comments, glad you like the pictures, I'll be adding more later.

Warthog, I didn't see any Super Bugs, and I haven't come across any in my photos (the entire day was a blur, before I knew what was happening we were watching night launches & recoveries)
